The Beginning
This is my first blog; my first post; my first time sharing my thoughts with all and sundry. I am growing and experiencing and celebrating my artistic side. I will share what I have created, and if appropriate, how I created it with you, my readers. I hope you enjoy the journey with me!

Aha! the first comment! I got all the way through art school and then I realized that - no theory, no aesthetic canon, no historical perspective put me in the place that my artwork puts me. I am sure however that my work can be categorized, but that is not important to me. I embrace beauty and want to transmit only that which is beautiful. I strive for it. I realize that this moves thoughts about my work into another place, like philosophy, or even biology, but that's fine too. I -- like you - are staying where I am, but you do have a distinct streak of 'literary' in your work!
